Roth Air: A Custom Event Activation at Roth's Sea & Steak

The Vision

A travel theme was the starting point. The goal was to make guests feel like they had actually gone somewhere.

On August 19, guests gathered at Roth's Sea & Steak in Colorado Springs for an evening designed around travel, connection, and experiencing the venue in a completely different way.

The event was planned by Hannah Elyse Events alongside Jesalyn, Director of Event Sales at Roth's Sea & Steak, with Martini Moment brought in to create an interactive photo experience that carried the theme beyond the decor.

With Ford Amphitheatre right outside, we had plenty of inspiration.

The Experience

Instead of building one traditional corporate photo booth, we created Roth Air — a collection of branded experiences that let guests become part of the travel story.

The hero experience was the First Class Visa. Guests stepped in, were transported somewhere new, and left with a personalized physical Visa designed specifically for the event.

Other guests joined the Roth Air crew as pilots and flight attendants, while another transformation placed them at Ford Amphitheatre.

A separate self-serve experience let guests take a real photo and create a branded digital postcard that could be sent straight to their phone.

Why It Worked

The technology got a lot of attention — especially when guests saw themselves completely transformed — but the technology wasn't the entire experience.

What made Roth Air work was that every piece connected back to the same idea.

Guests didn't take a random photo and walk away. They became part of the flight crew, traveled to a new destination, received a First Class Visa, or sent a postcard from the night.

The theme moved from something guests could see to something they could actually participate in.

The Takeaway

Roth Air is one example of what a custom corporate event activation in Colorado Springs can look like.

But the goal isn't to recreate Roth Air for the next event.

A sports organization might turn guests into collectible player cards. A company holiday party could create something completely unexpected around its theme. A hotel or destination event could give guests a keepsake tied specifically to where they are.

That's the part we love most about custom activations: the experience can be built around the brand, the event, and the people in the room.
